March Madness!

What a weird month March was.
Brexit is somehow more confusing than ever, article 13 was passed further restricting internet freedom, and the EU banned the UK's most used pesticide over health fears.
If you struggled to keep up with it all, then I don't blame you. However, what I want to make sure you don't miss out on are my posts.
We kicked things off with National Nutrition Month.
This month is designed to bring awareness to the impact that food and drink can have upon your health and happiness. Food choices have a far bigger influence on your body than just making you bigger or smaller - they can influence your immune system, mental health, and overall sense of wellbeing. Therefore, paying attention to what's on your plate is a must if you're looking to live your best life.
Next up we had a look at how being social can influence your wellness.
The 18th of March marked the start of National Conversation Week to promote us to talk more about our problems and general life. It's easy to shut yourself away and think that your problems don't matter because there are bigger issues at hand, but your problems are just as important as everyone else's.
Lastly, we had a week all about exercise.
A common misconception about exercise is that you have to beat yourself into the ground each and every workout in order to make any progress. In reality, you just need to elevate your heart rate and try to challenge your body. You can do this through lifting weights, running, cycling, swimming, dance, or anything else that fits the above perimeters. Most importantly, though, you need to enjoy it.
That's it for last month!
